The Honor Edit: February

The Honor Edit: February

This month we’re focusing on self-love and self-care with a simple goal in mind: glow, calm, and consistency. Because really taking care of yourself is not a one-time moment. It is the rituals you repeat.

Wild Rose Cleanser is our gentle, glow supporting cleanser that leaves skin feeling fresh, calm, and comforted. Never tight, never stripped.

And yes, it is loved by everyone. It is one of those products that becomes a shared shelf situation. Boyfriends and husbands are known to steal it.

A nightly ritual for sensitive skin:  Start by putting the phone away, dimming the lights, and cleansing with Wild Rose for 30 to 60 seconds. Rinse with lukewarm water, then follow with Genetically Blessed or another night treatment serum.

From Dr. John Diaz: Consistency Over Complexity

Many people think self-care and skincare mean adding more products or steps. In reality, the biggest improvements come from consistency and protecting the skin barrier.

When the barrier is irritated or compromised, skin is more likely to feel dry or tight, appear red or reactive, and look dull with uneven tone and texture.

The goal isn’t squeaky clean skin. The goal is skin that feels balanced and calm. Calm skin reflects light more evenly, and that’s what creates a healthy glow.

Try This: If your skin feels dry, sensitive, or overwhelmed, simplify for one week. Cleanse gently, moisturize, and wear SPF in the morning. That reset alone often restores balance and brings the glow back.

From Ursula: Scheduling in Self-Care

As a working mom and business owner, it can be difficult to take time for myself. However, I have learned that when I ignore self-care, I am less productive and not as patient or present as I want to be.

This month, in honor of self love, I am making it a priority to intentionally schedule time for myself, even in small ways. Those brief pauses add up and make a real difference.

Try This: Put one thing you enjoy on your schedule each day for one week. It might be journaling for ten minutes, meditating for five minutes, a workout, a walk outside, or calling a friend. At the end of the week, notice how you feel. Gentle reminder, you got this, and you deserve self-care too.
